iPods are the coolest things around. But, they're not much of a show
stopper without the right accessories. Then again, there are so many iPod accessories
out there that choosing the right stuff is a difficult task. So, how do
you separate the bells and whistles from what's really useful?
iPod case:
iPods scratch easily. So don't even think of taking your new iPod
out of its cover without a case to clothe it in. Fortunately, there are
many varieties of Pod cases and skins out there. If you want only
protection, even a transparent film will do. But most young folks like a
little more fun. So, choose something classy. When you change the case,
it'll be almost like getting a new iPod all over again.
Wall charger:
If you can't bear to be separated from your iPod, you had better buy
yourself a USB wall charger. This way, you can charge your iPod even
without the computer. Comes handy when you are out of your home, may be
for trips or attending a meeting somewhere. Choose an adapter that
matches your iPod and case.
Portable speakers:
You can choose between loud stereos or the smaller ones. Loud
stereos help you get the output on another system, like another audio or
video. Very useful if you want to use it during a party. Small portable
speakers are for a smaller audience, maybe within a car or a tent, or
for those times when you just don't feel like wearing the ear buds.
Cassette Tape Adapter:
A cassette tape adapter is a great addition for times when you want to listen to your iPod in a secluded place like a car.
