Thanksgiving is upon us once again, however, it is the day after that most of us are waiting for. Specifically, many are looking for Black Friday iPad deals. The iPad is still the number one tablet to own despite its flash problems, although other tablet PCs are beginning to catch up. The retail price of the iPad 2 begins at $499 for the base model, going all the way up to around $830 for the full version.
With the way the economy is at the moment, competition is tough and retailers are very keen to attract customers. As a result, you can expect some great deals on both the iPad and other tablet devices, especially with the release of the Kindle Fire.
So, what Black Friday iPad deals are available? It's first worth noting, you can get $50 off an iPad 2 from any refurbished Apple retailer store at any time. Similarly, Amazon also sells refurbished iPads very cheaply as well. Do you really need the extra thrills of the iPad 2 compared to the original one? Apart from the iPad 2, it's also worth looking into the new Kindle Fire which is available for considerably less than the price of the iPad 2 and does a lot of similar things. Other tablet PCs such as the Blackberry Playbook are at the same price as the Kindle Fire at both Staples and Best Buy. Although both are smaller in screen size compared to the iPad 2, it's worth looking into these devices as cheaper alternatives.
